Something I Find Most Interesting Is: Languages and words: “word of the day;” looking things up in the dictionary; learning things in other languages; the root meanings of words; grammar—ALL of that! Language arts was my favorite subject in school, besides art. I have always wished I had been in a spelling bee; I could have killed it.
One Of Best Things Anyone Said To Me: “It’s ok, I still love you.” And, “I have more for you.”

My Hero Is: First, Jesus. Then, my mom; if not for her, i probably would not know the Lord at all!
One Of My Greatest Experiences With God: times of prayer and worship alone, writing things I know God put into my heart—those rare moments of free-flowing creativity when I feel most like myself.
Something Most People Don’t Know About Me: Sometimes I get an irresistible urge to pray for people I hear about on the news, and I always stop to pray when I see emergency responders on the street. What if that person has no one to pray for them?
My Greatest Gift, Talent Or Ability: It’s not really a talent, but I don’t have to know a lot about someone to pray for them and feel that it makes a difference. I like the fact that prayer is a great way to make an impact without drawing a bunch of attention!
Favorite Food: Mexican, Asian Fusion, Puerto Rican, Grilled… and most things drowning in cheese or chocolate, or just freshly picked.
Favorite Snack: Peanut butter, avocado, fresh blackberries, pineapple

What I Find Most Annoying: feeling like my creativity or style is being crunched; terrible customer service
A Habit I Am Trying To Break Or Form: To cultivate more contentment and less control—of things that aren’t mine to control.
My Favorite Pet: when I was 7 we had an old black & gray, one-eyed poodle named Pierre. In high school I had a boxer-mutt mix, Evander, who loved the ocean. They were the best dogs ever. (Original names, right?)
Someone I am Most Thankful for: My husband—his faith, honesty and ability to forgive always challenge me, and he keeps me laughing 
One More Thing: Even though I am NOT a morning person, I like loud, energetic music in the morning because it helps me get motivated. My husband is a morning person, but he likes to be quiet in the morning. God’s got jokes!
